Next on my list of Jewish holidays is the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). This one reflects on Israel’s wandering through the wilderness for 40 years. But it was also meant to point the Jews to the Messiah, Jesus.
Can a person lose their salvation? This question is a contentious one and not easy to answer. Ultimately only God knows the answer and the truth about where each person will spend eternity. But I do wish to present both sides of the debate and offer my own thoughts.
Ever ask God why? I know I have. Ever get frustrated by a lack of answers from God? I know I have. And then we wonder why He’s not answering. Well, I’d like to offer some clarity.
In this final post about Christmas Characters, I take a look at perhaps the most unexpected visitors that Mary and Joseph could have expected. The Shepherds and Magi (or Wise Men). What can we learn about these characters today?
Mary and Joseph. The parents of Jesus. Of all the characters of Christmas, I think these are two of first ones we think of and probably talk about the most – apart from Jesus. But don’t tune me out thinking you’ve heard it all before. You might be surprised what you learn.
