Jesus opened His very famous Sermon on the Mount with the well known Beatitudes. Not all of them are well understood, however, so let’s dive in and learn what it is Jesus meant us to learn from them.
As Christians, we have victory in Jesus. Victory over sin, victory over the devil, victory over the world, etc. But all too often we live with a defeated mindset. I personally want to get back to the victorious mindset the Bible talks about.
Despite what the Bible says about fellowshipping with other believers, there are a lot of people in society that think they don’t need to go to church in order to worship God or have a deep relationship with Him. And while that’s technically true, there are many dangers in choosing to regularly skip attending church.
The New Testament calls us children of God. But we aren’t just children born into His family, we are adopted into His family. Keep reading to find out what it means to be adopted into God’s family.
